Go to udyamregistration.gov.in → Login → Update/Cancel Udyam Registration. Log in with your Udyam number and the mobile from your original application (OTP on that mobile or your registered email). Correct the official address, add or remove plant locations if needed, submit with the final OTP, then download the new certificate from Print / Verify. Your Udyam number and registration date stay the same.
You moved the office, opened a second unit, or spotted a typo in the PIN code. Any of these leaves a certificate that no longer matches your loan papers, and banks do compare the two. You do not need a new registration for this. The address is one of the details you can change yourself online, and this page shows exactly where.
The address on a Udyam certificate is the one banks, buyers and scheme offices read first. Update it when:
None of these needs a new registration. Cancelling and registering again would give you a new Udyam number and a new registration date, which breaks every loan file and tender that carries the old one.

Plant or unit locations are the places where the work happens: a workshop, a factory shed, a godown. You can list more than one, and you can add or remove them in the same update.
If you only opened a new unit and the office stays where it was, add the unit as a plant location and leave the official address untouched.
The login always asks for the mobile from the original application. If that SIM is gone, type the old number anyway and choose “OTP on Email as filled in application”. If you have lost the old email as well, the portal cannot log you in. Our guide on changing the mobile number in Udyam covers every case, including the one where no OTP reaches you at all.
Download the certificate again from Print / Verify and read the address line by line. Replace the old PDF you share with banks and buyers. Your Udyam number and registration date will be unchanged, which is how it should be. To confirm the record, you can also verify the Udyam number. For other corrections, such as the NIC code or bank account, see the full guide to updating Udyam certificate details.
