Go to udyamregistration.gov.in → Login → Update/Cancel Udyam Registration. Enter your Udyam number and the old mobile number from the application. If the old phone is gone but you still use the old email, pick OTP on Email. Log in, replace the mobile and email with your current ones, and submit. If you have lost both the old mobile and the old email, the portal cannot log you in on its own.
This is the most common reason people get stuck on Udyam. The SIM was lost, the number belonged to a relative, or a CA registered it on their own phone. The login still asks for that old number. What you can do depends on which of the old details you still have, so this guide goes case by case.
Udyam has no password. To make any change, you log in through Update/Cancel Udyam Registration, and the form asks for the “Mobile (Filled in application)”. That is the number typed in on the day of registration, not the one linked to your Aadhaar today, and not your current phone. It is also not printed on the certificate, which is why so many people do not know it.
We change the mobile and email on your Udyam and email you the updated certificate, usually within 24 to 48 hours. ₹599 in total: ₹99 to book, ₹500 when your certificate is ready.
Book for ₹99 →There is no self-service reset for this case. The Ministry lists a grievance channel on the login page (champions@gov.in, and a call or WhatsApp line on weekdays). You explain the case and prove that the enterprise is yours. If you would rather not follow it up yourself, we handle mobile and email changes as part of our edit service and email you the corrected certificate.
Do not cancel the registration to get around the login. Cancellation is permanent, and a new registration comes with a new Udyam number and a new date, which breaks loans and tenders that carry the old one.
These are two different numbers. The Udyam login above uses the mobile from your Udyam application. A brand-new registration and Aadhaar-based URN recovery send the OTP to the mobile linked to your Aadhaar.
If the Aadhaar-linked number is the dead one, no one can fix it online or on your behalf, because an Aadhaar mobile update needs your own fingerprint. Visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or a bank or post office that runs Aadhaar updates, carry your Aadhaar, and ask to update the mobile number. No documents are needed and the fee is about ₹50 (confirm at the counter). India Post Payments Bank also offers a doorstep Aadhaar mobile update in many areas for a small charge. Once OTPs reach you again, the Udyam side is quick. If the OTP still does not arrive, see Udyam OTP not received.
Download the certificate again from Print / Verify and keep it with your records. From now on, the login works with your current number. While you are inside the update form, it is worth checking the rest of the details too. The full guide to updating Udyam certificate details lists what you can and cannot change, and if the address needs fixing, see changing the address in Udyam.
